My Ultimate Morrissey Set List

I have NEVER been disappointed by a Morrissey concert, or indeed it's content. I have enjoyed every set of every show, and I LOVE the fact that every time I have seen him, there have been different songs. With most major artists, including the likes of The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney, who both have huge back catalogues, you can pretty much predict that certain songs will appear, whereas with Morrissey, you can't, and that is one of the beauties of seeing him live.

Having said that, in much the same way as Desert Island Discs invites somebody to choose the songs they would take with them to a desert island, I have decided to create my 'Ultimate Morrissey Set List.' To arrive at the ultimate set list, I am going to work my way through a list of the tracks on each Morrissey/The Smiths album, and take my favourite songs from each. I will then whittle the list down to just twenty one songs, and then put them in a set list order. If anybody would like to write their own 'Ultimate Set List' in the comments section, then please feel free. Here we go:

Day 351 Thursday August 30th 2012

I am holed up in a hotel in Loughborough with absolutely NOTHING to do. The hotel is bland, the outlook is bland. The weather is bland. My word of the day is......well, you get the picture.




LOUGHBOROUGH IN THE OLDEN DAYS. IT IS NOW MUCH GREYER.



The MorrisseysWorld blog thingy has reappeared, but all the old content is still missing. There are just the last two articles from earlier this month, and the chat room (The Worlds End) is still there, although none of the regulars seem to be using it much. Our Mozzer does however, seem to be back in full swing on twitter. I can only guess that he is bored, but then again, if I were to say he were bored, he would say he is not bored, and anyway, how can anybody possibly know how he feels?

Since returning to twitter 5 days ago, Mozzer has had a go at a whole host of people, and covered many topics. He continues to deny that he is the REAL Morrissey, but then drops in the odd tweet to prove that he is. A perfect example of this is a tweet from Aug 25th which read, "Following on from my lead, I would like to suggest Tony Bliar registers a Tony Blair parody account and simply tells the truth!" This is Moz ADMITTING that he is tweeting as 'Parody Moz'. However, a tweet from our old friend Banjaxer, which Moz then retweeted, read, "Is @MorrisseysWorld the real @MorrisseysWorld or is it Morrissey pretending to be @MorrisseysWorld." This implies that '@MorrisseysWorld' ISN'T the REAL Morrissey, but the REAL Morrissey DOES have access to the '@MorrisseysWorld' twitter account, and sometimes PRETENDS to be 'Parody Moz'! Confused? You will be.


WHO IS MORRISSEYSWORLD? (Incidentally, type 'Who Is MorrisseysWorld' into Google Images, it's like seeing the whole MW story in pictures).


Elton John and Madonna have once again been at the forefront of Our Mozzer's venomous (and bluntly honest) tweets, whilst he has also exchanged pleasantries with both Boy George, and former bass player, Jonny Bridgwood (@JohnnyBridgwood). When I say 'former' bass player, I don't mean Bridgwood is a former bass player, I mean he is Morrissey's former bass player, although I have NO IDEA who Bridgwood now plays bass for, and to be honest, I have no interest either! Our Mozzer asked Bridgwood to ask him a question that only the real Morrissey could possibly know, so Bridgwood asked, "Who's the cook at Hook End", to which Mozzer replied, "How the hell would I know? I keep telling them I'm not Morrissey and so does Morrissey, but they won't believe me - or him." Jonny Bridgwood sent no further tweets, and DOESN'T follow '@MorrisseysWorld', so I guess he took Our Mozzer at his word. It is incredible that all these people who have played with Morrissey, really don't know him at all, but I bet ALL of them fill there lives talking abut him.


JONNY BRIDGWOOD - WHATEVER HAPPENS, THE HIGHPOINT OF HIS LIFE WILL HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH MORRISSEY - FACT.



So, what does one do in a bland hotel, with nothing to do? There are of course a number of answers, but I have decided to go through a list of all of Morrissey's songs, and create my 'Ultimate Moz Set List.' I shall publish it tomorrow.

There is still no sign of the answers to my questions from Morrissey. I shall give him 48 hours to produce the answers, and if they don't appear, I shall take legal action. Mozzer, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Don't ever mess with a bored Rat in a bland hotel.

Day 349 Tuesday August 28th 2012

Uk 'parody rapper', Dizzee Rascal, has made my day. When Our Mozzer took to twitter a couple of days ago, and asked Dizzee (@DizzeeRascal) why he tried so hard to make himself interesting, and why he referred to women as "biatches", Dizzee ignored him. Yesterday, after a Dizzee fan tweeted to say that he had started rapping because of Dizzee, Our Mozzer responded by saying, "Yet another good reason for Dizzee to retire." This was too much for Dizzee, who mustered every ounce of wit he possesses, to come back at Our Mozzer with the following retort, "stop following me then you silly miserable cunt! Do 1."

Dizzee Rascal is unfortunately a perfect example of both the current music industry and Britain as a whole (hole?). All the current British 'singers'(?) are just cheap imitations of the crap that is coming out of America. I guess it is no different to the late 1950's, when the British singers of the time, like Cliff Richard, were just cheap imitations of Elvis. The difference between then and now, is that Elvis had talent, he could sing. The current crop of American singers, whether they be the rappers or the poster kids like Bieber, have NOTHING to offer.

The only hope is that a new crop of bands come through to revolutionise the music industry again. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones did it in the early 60's, a whole crop of bands did it in the early and mid 70's, The Smiths did it in the early 80's, and to a certain extent, Oasis did it in the 90's. It has now been a VERY long time since any 'proper' new bands emerged. Something HAS to happen to kill off the X Factor/Pop Idol garbage that has all but killed the music industry. Our Mozzer has yet again used twitter to demonstrate all that is wrong with modern Britain, but unfortunately nobody has noticed. It would be interesting to see what media coverage Mozzer's twittercisms received if his twitter account was accepted as being the REAL Moz. I expect the tabloids would just say it was 'miserable old Morrissey', but perhaps the intellectuals would realise that Moz spoke the truth. He is one of the VERY few famous people prepared to speak openly and honestly. SURELY intelligence is still valued in modern Britain? Perhaps I am being deluded. The one thing Dizzee Rascal doesn't need to be scared about, is smearing his lovely career by showing intelligence, it's an IMPOSSIBILITY!

It has been announced today in 'The Sun' (so it must be true), that our old friend Russell Brand, is dating Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. Let us hope that he can give her what she wants, what she really, really wants. All of us here at 'Following The Mozziah' HQ wish the pair the very best. I wonder if Geri knows about MorrisseysWorld. More to the point, I wonder if Geri knows about Gary!

Last week Boz Boorer (@Boz_Boorer) tweeted me to say, "as mentioned a few times, Boz_Boorer is official (just news directly from Boz, Lyn or Fabrique records)." I get the impression the tweet came from Michael from Fabrique records, who also tweeted to let me know Boz's new album, 'Some of the Parts', is out NEXT MONDAY. From the samples I've listened to so far, I REALLY like track 4, 'Bozanova'. It's a real summery song....it's just a shame summer is over.

And talking of summer being over, the cricket season is winding up (even though it never really got going), and in a weeks time, the kids will be back at school. I will have NOTHING to do. Perhaps it is my cue to FINALLY get writing. It has been nearly eight months since I gave up work, and I have written NOTHING, except this blog thingy. The question is, will I continue to write about Moz? I suppose it depends on whether he gives me anything to write about. Time as ever will tell.

As the MW chat room was always at the bottom of the MW blog site, and as the MW blog has now disappeared, I have decided to call the MW chat room 'The Worlds End'. Yesterday morning, regular MorrisseysWorlder, Girl On Bike (GOB), left a comment on my blog saying that the MorrisseysWorld chat room was still up and running, with an address of: http://chatroll.com/embed/chat/morrisseysworld-chat?id=f1w_p-GET5u&platform=blogger&w=$0.

Early yesterday evening, I decided to pay the chat room a visit. It was empty, so I left a message, and then my internet connection dropped out (it's doing that a lot lately, I think I may need a better router/modem thingy). I fired it back up, and popped back to the empty little room, where I found Morrissey1959, just sitting there, minding his own business. Here are the 'highlights' (?) of our brief conversation:

Morrissey1959: Oh it will be completed. I have been rather busy, you know; this and that; a bit of the other; many hours of languid boredom.

The MorrisseysWorld blog has disappeared completely, the twitter account is no longer active, and the 'real' Morrissey hasn't been heard from in weeks. I have no Mozziah to follow, so I will now stop blogging and tweeting. I shall only return if one of the following happens:

1. Morrissey answers the questions that I asked last week
2. Morrissey appears with a blue rose
3. I decide I've got nothing better to do with my pitiful life, and start writing again

Day 342 Tuesday August 21st 2012

The past four days has been nothing but glorious sunshine and non stop cricket (not the non stop cricket everybody played at school when you had to run whether you hit it or not). On Friday it was a visit to Langley Manor Cricket Club in the New Forest, Saturday and Sunday was at Ryde on the Isle of Wight, and yesterday was a trip to the beautiful Bath Cricket Club in Somerset. NOTHING could have been more quintessentially English than yesterday's game, although if we'd had Morrissey umpiring, with his quiff at the height of it's fame, that  might have just about sealed it.

Morrissey has not yet answered the questions posed to him last week on this blog, and there has been no sign of either 'Our Mozzer' or 'Mozzer Mozzer'. The MW twitter account has re-appeared, but nothing has been tweeted. The MW blog still remains (sort of) closed, but the prophecy page has been re-added.

With no Mozziah to follow, I will continue to play cricket and live a life away from the internet, although as there was no game today, I decided to pop into the Twitterdilly Arms and 'broadcast' the new Top 10....not 'arf.

Day 339 - Chats With Our Mozzer

On the evenings of Thursday August 9th, Friday 10th and Sunday 12th, Morrissey1959 entered the chat room of the MorrisseysWorld blogsite. I was on hand on the Thursday, and took a few notes. I wasn't around on the other two nights, but notes were taken by Heather Cat. Here is a brief summary of some of 'Our Mozzers' quotes:

NOTES FROM HEATHER:

Items of note mentioned by Our Mozzer in the MW chatroom on August 10th & 12th:

- Not planning to release autobiography until 2015, so that it will cover his entire career 

- Probably will resurrect the Attack label for new album. There's two albums worth of new material. People Are the Same will probably be a B-side.

- We've already been told that the upcoming US tour will be the 'ironic t-shirt tour' -COSH is just the beginning :)

-The True Artiste didn't wear a blue rose because he didn't want the blog to remain open. However, there's still hope for blue rose to be fulfilled (not for the purpose of re-opening the blog). The blue rose must be delivered ON STAGE (he tried to hint at this previously).

- He chose to cover 'To Give is the Reason I Live' because of Bans & Ejections Committee blog post, when he explains to Mikey the reason why he gave nothing.

- He said virtually everything he does comes from the blog: Boz in drag, finger lingerie, etc.

-He solved the debate about whether he sang 'I'm just a poor lonely bat' or 'I'm just a poor lonely rat' -he sang 'rat!' He said to notice the smirk on his face afterwards.

- He touched on Freemasonry and the fact that it's so pervasive in the music industry, it's difficult to have a successful career if you choose not to join.

NOTE FROM RAT - Thanks to Heather for these notes, although why you Americans continue to leave out the letter 'u' from words like 'favourite' is bemusing, and frankly, just plain lazy. Morrissey would never do it, so you shouldn't either. It is time for the Americans to just say NO to their teachers, and INSIST on using the English language in the way it was devised. If we'd wanted to spell favourite without a u, we would have. Thank you.

Day 337 - Thursday August 16th 2012

On Monday, I played in a game of cricket, which saw me batting for quite a length of time with the son of David Icke, the once self proclaimed 'Son of God', which I guess makes his son the 'Grandson of God'(GOG), although I haven't heard him make such a claim, especially not out in the middle (cricketing term which means batting), and if he IS the GOG, then I don't think much to his Grandfather, as we were both caught, and our innings' ended.

David was watching the game, and as we all sat watching and chatting, David received a text asking him to appear on stage with The Charlatans at next years Isle of Wight Festival. David seemed to have no idea who The Charlatans are, but said the request had been made by some bloke called Tom Burgess. I asked David what they wanted him to 'DO' on stage? David replied, "play the guitar I guess", although I don't know if he was serious or not. I know he suffers from arthritis, but perhaps he plays guitar with his teeth.

I remarked that I wouldn't be surprised to find that Tim Burgess was 'into' Icke's ideas, as he appears to be quite a deep thinking person. Icke is particularly vocal regarding the New World Order, so I expect Morrissey would also find him quite interesting. David Icke is appearing at Wembley Arena on October 27th, with his show entitled 'Remember Who You Are.' GOG meanwhile, is appearing at a cricket ground near here, wherever HERE is!

DAVID ICKE - ANTI NEW WORLD ORDER



On Tuesday I soaked up the atmosphere in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, as this week is 'Cowes Week', one of the biggest events in the world yachting calendar. I have no interest whatsoever in sailing, but Cowes is always a great place to be during this famous week.

Morrissey has yet to answer the questions that I and others posted yesterday, so for now, we wait. Perhaps it WASN'T the real Morrissey after all behind that now defunct twitter account, perhaps it was Richard Bailey, the man who has now come out and admitted that he was behind the Kevin Pietersen twitter account. Or was it Kevin Pietersen behind MorrisseysWorld? Or perhaps it was David Icke! The mystery continues.

I have just taken a peak into twitter, and seen that 'Official' Boz Boorer has been asked by '@RFerdenzi' to confirm that the now defunct 'Drag Boz' account was a fake. '@Boz_Boorer' replied, "the BozBoorer (drag) account was fake (message from Michael/Fabrique." Seeing as Michael from the  Fabrique record label seems to be posting the majority of the tweets on the 'official' Boz twitter account, I now declare it ISN'T Boz's account, it is run by somebody else, and is therefore a fake account!

Finally, 'Emotional Air Raid (EARS) has found a Youtube clip of her throwing her luminous blue rose onto the stage in Edinburgh. You can clearly see it at 1 minute 06: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jos9TyF99VU&feature=youtu.be . It is cleared away by security very quickly, but Moz DEFINITELY saw it. Would he have picked it up? We'll never know.

Day 336 - Wednesday August 15th 2012

I had no intention of blogging today, as I was due to watch cricket at the beautiful Hursley Park, but as usual it has tipped down with rain, and the match has been called off. I have just arrived home, and despite the cricket being off, I STILL had no intention of writing anything, but I have just read the comments left on my blog entry of yesterday, and one of the comments is from Morrissey himself, inviting me to interview him. Now there is no way I would miss an opportunity like that, so here I am, back again, questions at the ready.

Morrissey also invited others to ask questions, but it would appear that not many people have been back to read the comments section of my blog, so there are only three other questions, which I will inject into the interview. Also in the comments section of yesterday, Heather Cat posted some of the 'highlights' from Morrissey's chatroom chats of August 10th and 12th. I still have some notes from the MorrisseysWorld chatroom chat of August 9th, so at some stage over the next few days, I will put all these notes together and post some sort of blog entry.

So, here goes, my SECOND exclusive 'Following The Mozziah' interview with Morrissey. Hopefully he will reply in the comments section, as he did on Thursday May 17th, and I will repost the interview in full as a new blog entry, and then return to twitter to post it to the fans.

TRB: The last time we had one of our intimate little chats like this, you chose to answer my question about the NME court case via True To You, which then subsequently disappeared. Did you get into trouble with your lawyers for posting it there?

TRB: You have so far remained tight lipped on the whole NME affair. Why did you decide NOT to proceed with the case, and were you happy with the outcome?

TRB: One thing you haven't been so tight lipped about is the Olympic games, saying you were unable to watch "due to the blistering jingoism". How did you feel seeing your friend Russell Brand perform (and yes I think that is the correct word in the circumstances) at the closing ceremony?

TRB: Speaking of the Olympics, can you clear up the mystery surrounding the use of 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out' in the opening ceremony? It was clearly listed in the programme.

TRB: Now let's get on to three subjects that most of your fans are really interested in; records, book and tour. Firstly, you have recently hinted that you may be releasing your next album back on the Attack record label, is there any news yet?

TRB: Secondly, your autobiography was earmarked for an end of 2012 release, and then you mentioned 2013, and NOW you are talking about 2015. What are your current thoughts with the book, and what do your publishers advise?

TRB: Thirdly, you are going to be embarking on a thirty five date US tour in October, are we likely to see you touring the UK next year?

TRB: In the past year, you have accepted a red and a white rose on stage, but thus far you have NOT accepted a BLUE ROSE. Are you waiting for somebody to actually make it on to the stage with the rose between their teeth?

TRB: The whole idea of your 'Blue Rose Society' in honour of Oscar Wilde's 'Green Carnation' is a brilliant idea. Oscar is said to have worn a green carnation at his performances, so will we eventually see you regularly wearing a blue rose at your shows?

TRB: As I mentioned Oscar Wilde, this is probably a good time to bring in a question from 'fancy123', who asks: "I know you like Oscar Wilde, are there any modern authors you enjoy to read? What type of genre do you read or does it change depending on your mood? Are you currently reading anything?"

TRB: Going back to the subject of shows, it would appear that you have personally hand picked a vast number of iconic venues throughout the world to sing in. In London alone you have played The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, The Palladium, Earls Court, Alexandra Palace, The Festival Theatre etc etc. Firstly, are there any venues/festivals that are still on your 'to play' list, and if so, what ones, and secondly, can you name the ten venues/festivals throughout the world that have given you the greatest pleasure to sing in? (Don't stop at ten if you fancy listing the whole lot)

TRB: Do you pinch yourself when you think of all these fantastic places you've played in, or were they lucky to have you?

TRB: 'Lizzycatmoz' asks: "What is your proudest achievement, personally or professionally?"


TRB: I was going to ask a question about The Smiths, but I have lost all interest in a re-union, and in fact I personally hope it never happens, so instead, let's talk about your relationship with the beautiful Boz Boorer/Gaynor Tension. I have read in an interview today, that Boz says, "Life with Morrissey is at times very hectic and crazy. You live intensely with each other, almost as a married couple." Do you see your relationship as a marriage, or is Boz just fantasising?

TRB: 'SmallBoyJokesAndLoadedGuns' asks: "Dear Moz, I'd like to know how old you really are in your head? Multiple answers accepted, of course."

I am managing to wean myself off the internet. Since arriving home from cricket tour on Friday evening, I have resisted all temptation to log on to twitter, so there is a whole world carrying on that I am now no longer a part of. It has been made easier knowing that 'Our Mozzer' is no longer there ( I presume he is no longer there) and I have also been aided by the fact that I have hardly been at home in the past few days. Saturday, Sunday and Monday was wall to wall (or field to field) cricket, with many more games due this week, as long as the rain holds off.

Although I have managed to resist logging on to Twitter, I have had a quick peak at the  MorrisseysWorld blog, but it has all but closed down. The home page is still there, but ALL the other pages/articles/parody stories have gone. We were promised one more parody story before shut down, but I either missed it, or The Mozziah changed his mind......he does seem to do that quite a lot!

I have decided that I will write my blog as and when I get an urge, or if 'Our Mozzer' reappears, but for now, it feels like a summer holiday. The only Morrissey related thing to catch my attention is the emergence on Youtube of the 'Studio In Session' series that Morrissey recorded in Dublin last summer,  with Tony Visconti producing. It is superb, and features; 'The Kid's A Looker', 'Scandinavia', 'Action Is My Middle Name' and 'People Are The Same Everywhere'. When, oh when are we to get a new album with these new (getting older) tracks? Could it be that a record deal HAS been signed, and Morrissey is waiting to tie in the release with his autobiography launch, or is there REALLY still no deal?

The Olympics closing ceremony DIDN'T include 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out', but DID include Take That and the Spice Girls....enough said.

I usually post my blog on twitter, but as I am no longer tweeting, I will just leave it here for people to find, although as there is no Mozziah to follow, it really isn't worth reading. Unfortunately, if you've reached this point, you have already read it. I shall now add a sentence at the top of the page, advising that this blog entry isn't worth reading, but usually when people read things like that, it compels them EVEN more to read on. All I can say is, I wasn't kidding! If anybody IS reading this, please feel free to post comments, and PLEASE let me know if I am missing anything.

And finally Esther, and finally Cyril, regular readers of my blog will remember that I attended the concert in Manchester with my friends 'Big Mick' and 'Midlife Matt', both of whom knew NOTHING of either MorrisseysWorld or my blog. Well, last night I received an email from 'Midlife Matt' telling me that whilst searching for reviews of the Manchester concert, he FOUND my blog. No doubt he is working his way back through it, but I'll save him the time, YES Matt, it REALLY IS Morrissey! 'Big Mick' remains none the wiser.

THE HISTORY OF MORRISSEY'S BLUE ROSE SOCIETY

Oscar Wilde and his followers had a secret society called 'Green Carnation', and they would each wear a GREEN CARNATION on their lapel, although when asked what it signified, Wilde would reply, "Nothing whatever, but that is just what nobody will guess."

In homage to Wilde, the mysterious website 'MorrisseysWorld' formed the 'BLUE ROSE SOCIETY', with fans of Morrissey asked to wear either a red, white, or BLUE ROSE to his concerts. Morrissey was 'Born to be Wilde', and 'THE BLUE ROSE SOCIETY' is the PERFECT way to celebrate this. 'Green Carnations' and 'Blue Roses' are BOTH unnatural flowers, with blue roses fittingly representing unrequited love.

Here is how Morrissey's 'BLUE ROSE SOCIETY' was formed:

On August 22nd 2011, the mysterious website MorrisseysWorld.blogspot.com asked for fans attending  Morrissey concerts on the USA leg of the world tour tour to wear either a single red rose or a single white rose. It wasn't explained why.

On September 1st 2011, this request was re-iterated, and it was stated that it was in honour of Oscar Wilde, because of red and white roses being a recurring motif in Wilde's work. It was also stated that Wilde lives on today in the artiste Morrissey. 

On November 4th 2011, the mysterious MorrisseysWorld website explained that the 'Secret Rose Society' was to mirror Oscar Wilde's 'Green Carnation', a secret society formed by Oscar Wilde for his followers, who wore green carnations to his performances without anybody knowing why. 

On November 14th 2011, Morrissey's tour of the USA and Mexico got underway, with a concert in San Antonio, Texas. It was reported that a small number of the audience wore roses.

On November 28th 2011, at Morrissey's concert in Pomona, at the end of  'Everyday is Like Sunday', Morrissey 'received' a RED ROSE from a member of the audience. (See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAAWht5sVL0 ).

There were a number of other concerts played in the US and Mexico on this leg of the world tour, and at various concerts, some members of the audience wore white or red roses, but NONE were actually handed to Morrissey.

In February 2012, the mysterious MorrisseysWorld website announced for the first time that the secret society would be known as the 'BUE ROSE SOCIETY'. 

On February 24th 2012, Morrissey started his tour of South America and again, the MorrisseysWorld website gave instruction for fans to wear a red rose or a white rose, and also instructed fans to THROW THEIR ROSES ONTO THE STAGE AT THE ENCORE.

  Two concerts were played in Chile, four in Argentina, three in Brazil and one in Peru, but although a few South American fans promised on twitter to take roses, NONE were handed to Morrissey on stage. 

On March 17th 2012, on the very last day of Morrissey's South American tour, in Bogota, Columbia, Morrissey 'plucked' a WHITE ROSE from a member of the audience during the song 'You Have Killed Me' (Video footage here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVaezmLcyi4 ). Under the red lighting, the ROSE appeared to be red, thus confirming a prophecy that was made on the mysterious MorrisseysWorld website on October 9th 2011, which said, "When the blood runs, the white rose becomes a red rose" (See here: http://morrisseysworld.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/introducing-log-lady.html), the 'blood runs' meaning the song 'You Have Killed Me'.

On April 10th 2012, the mysterious MorrisseysWorld website pledged that Morrissey would appear with a BLUE ROSE before 2012 was out.

On April 19th 2012, Morrissey embarked on the Asian leg of his World tour. Many flowers were taken to the concerts in Japan, but they were mostly gladioli, so Morrissey ignored them. Morrissey DID take a flower in Nagoya on May 2nd (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1Hk-jGv440), but having looked at it, he gave it away. It WASN'T a rose!

On May 3rd 2012, at the final concert of the Japanese tour, in 'Ebisu Garden Hall' Tokyo, the FIRST BLUE ROSE was taken to a Morrissey concert by twitter user '@Tokyo_Katie', but she was too far away to give it to Morrissey. (Here is her photo: http://instagr.am/p/KKVHv2iEeL/).

On May 8th 2012, at the concert in Singapore, at Fort Canning Park, the SECOND BLUE ROSE was taken to a Morrissey concert by long time MorrisseysWorld follower, '@MancLadMozFan'. It had been well documented via twitter that Manclad would be taking a BLUE ROSE, and even '@BozBoorer' had tweeted to say, "We're looking forward to Manclad in Singapore."

   At the end of the last song, 'Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me', Morrissey went over to where 'Manclad' was standing (3 mins 45 seconds in), and appeared to LOOK AT HIM. Morrissey then put out his hand for the ROSE, but unfortunately it wasn't forthcoming, because 'Manclad' had lost it during the concert. On May 19th 2012, the mysterious MorrisseysWorld website once again asked concert goers to take a single white, red or blue rose. It also stated that if you get into the front row, Morrissey might receive your rose.

On May 22nd 2012, at Morrissey's birthday concert in San Diego, Morrissey took to the stage in a red shirt that was covered in roses.

A number of fans took BLUE ROSES to the concert at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, but they were unable to get close enough to hand them to him. Morrissey's tour ended a few days later.

On July 5th 2012, the European leg of Morrissey's world tour got under way, and Morrissey walked onto the stage in Belgium wearing a GREEN CARNATION.Morrissey had NEVER previously worn a GREEN CARNATION, so members of 'THE BLUE ROSE SOCIETY' saw this as conclusive PROOF that Morrissey is either BEHIND the mysterious MorrisseysWorld website, or at the very least, he SUPPORTS it and WANTS 'BLUE ROSE' to take off.

On July 8th 2012, 'BLUE ROSE SOCIETY' member '@AIRRAID25' took a BLUE ROSE to the concert in Genoa, but Morrissey either; didn't see it, couldn't reach it, or just wasn't yet ready to accept a BLUE ROSE (The first video footage of a BLUE ROSE at a Morrissey concert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YREq6ayGU5Y).

On July 21st 2012, Morrissey was presented with the 'Key to the City' of Tel Aviv. Morrissey wore a BLUE ROSE tie, which was completely out of keeping with his red shirt, which also had a rose pattern on it. This was Morrissey's public acknowledgement of the BLUE ROSE SOCIETY.

On July 28th 2012, RED, WHITE and BLUE ROSES were taken to Morrissey's concert in Manchester. Nobody was able to get a rose on stage to Morrissey, but the BLUE ROSE SOCIETY were out in force and in full swing.

MORRISSEY IS THE MODERN DAY OSCAR WILDE

On August 9th 2012, MorrisseysWorld announced that the blog would be closing, it's work was done.

It is now up to Morrissey's fans to keep the BLUE ROSE SOCIETY going.

MORRISSEY WANTS ROSES: RED, WHITE, and especially BLUE. Followers of Morrissey should wear either a red, white, or blue rose to his concerts, and if close enough, they should offer it to Morrissey, or throw it to the stage at the encore. If not close enough, just wear your rose with pride, to show your appreciation of Morrissey and all he means to YOU.

Morrissey is the modern day Oscar Wilde. Wilde had his 'GREEN CARNATION SOCIETY', and Morrissey now has his 'BLUE ROSE SOCIETY'.

The Morrissey song 'TROUBLE LOVES ME', is the song of the 'BLUE ROSE SOCIETY', as it is an anagram - 'LOVE MT BLUE ROSE'. 'Trouble Loves Me' has not been performed by Morrissey since 2006.
